Demonstrators and Projects

This page will contain demonstrations of the SIMILE tools and their potential applications as they are developed as part of the pilot work (July-September 2008) and then as part of the main project from October.
The project maintains two sets of demonstrators and projects:
- Public Projects: open access projects with no restrictions
- Development Projects: limited access projects restricted to specific groups and users
Featured Project:
- The Plant Evolution Timeline (public version) uses an adapted version of the SIMILE project’s timeline tool to present a wide range of data and allowing exploration of the relationships between biotic and abiotic factors over the last 600 million years.
